Tracy Brown Appointed as Associate Director, National Rowing Foundation
North Stonington, CT, April 20, 2018 — The National Rowing Foundation (NRF) today announced the appointment of Olympian and past National Team member Tracy Brown to the position of Associate Director.
Brown brings with her over twenty years of experience in fundraising, corporate communications and non-profit management. “Tracy brings a unique set of professional skills to this position and, as an Olympian, understands the challenges and opportunities our National Team athletes encounter during training cycles. We are thrilled to have her aboard as we continue our fundraising initiatives in preparation for Tokyo 2020,” said NRF Acting Executive Director Mara Ford.
As Associate Director, Ms. Brown will be responsible for implementing NRF fundraising strategies, campaigns, donor research and stewardship, marketing efforts and special event management.
“This position, using my fundraising and communications experience to support our National Team athletes, truly feels like the perfect intersection of my skills, interests, and personal experience”, said Brown. Brown represented the United States at the 1990 and 1991 World Rowing Championships and was an Olympian on the 1992 team which competed in Barcelona/Banyoles.
