Melrose, MA, September 11, 2020 – The National Rowing Foundation (NRF), together with USRowing (Princeton, N.J.) today announce that One Equity Partners and The Jordan Company, both headquartered in NYC, have committed at the “Presenting Sponsor” level for the 2020 Tim Hosea Memorial Golf Outing. This annual event is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at the Bedens Brook Club in Skillman, NJ.
“With the Covid-related cancellation of several of our most critical fundraising events, this commitment of One Equity Partners and The Jordan Company means even more to the success of this event and the impact it will have on the funds we are able to raise to support our US National Team,” said Tracy Brown, NRF Executive Director. “We’ve also seen sponsorship commitments at all levels increase and are grateful for the loyal support of our rowing community partners,” continued Brown.
Originally launched and developed by the national team doctor for whom the event is named, the Tim Hosea Memorial Golf Outing and auction benefits the US National Team. Dr. Hosea served as the USRowing team physician at 12 world rowing championships and multiple Olympic Games and was a beloved and trusted friend and colleague in the rowing world. After Dr. Hosea’s passing in August 2015, friends and family came together to establish the Tim Hosea Memorial Golf Outing as a time to remember Dr. Hosea’s impact in the sport of rowing and to celebrate his legacy.
The venue hosts, Bedens Brook Club, are taking every precaution to keep all of the attendees safe. Special COVID protocols are in place. In an effort to keep the USA athletes safe, the USA team will not be joining the event in person this year, but organizers will include them virtually in the event.
