Originally launched and developed by the national team doctor for whom the event is named, the Tim Hosea Memorial Golf Outing and auction benefits the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team. Dr. Hosea served as the USRowing team physician at 12 World Championships and multiple Olympic Games. He was a beloved and trusted friend and colleague in the rowing world. After Dr. Hosea’s passing in August 2015, friends and family came together to establish the Tim Hosea Memorial Golf Outing as a time to remember Dr. Hosea’s impact in the sport of rowing and to celebrate his legacy.
